I don't know if anyone checks this thing anymore, but... I am having the worst week ever! Monday I got sick at work and had to go home. While home, alone, I learned that Carl had died. Lonnie didn't get home until 11 because his friends suck. We proceded to have a big fight. Tuesday I was still sick, but it gave Lonnie and me time to look for our dog Scout who got lost/was dognapped again. Wednesday I was back to work. On the way to my mom's afterwards for a memorial dinner for Carl, a deer hit my new car. No, I didn't type that wrong. He hit me. I was almost completely stopped. Today is Thursday. I broke the heel on one of my favorite pair of shoes and am limping around the bank. Plus, my boss doesn't want to give me the whole day off for Carl's funeral. This weekend will be better because Lonnie and I are going to the Keys for Valentine's! | | Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 | | 10:30 am |
Oh, how things change...
So, I haven't updated or posted or whatevs in 11 weeks. This is how things have changed since then: I already moved out of my house. Not actually moved out, mind you. Most of my stuff is there and I still pay rent, but I am never there. Ever. I just can't do the roommate thing. The female roommate thing anyway. Apparently I can do the male roommate thing because I moved in with my boyfriend. Starting in the spring, he's going to begin building us a house where we'll apparently live happily ever after. I still work at the Bank (the last time I updated was the day before my first day). I like it, but I'm not passionate about it. I miss teaching. A lot of days I'm sad because I'm not teaching. Let's see... any other changes? Well, Mary and I are no longer friends, finally. We haven't spoken in a month maybe. It's pretty awesome on my side, but she's that petty 8th grade girl who writes snarky things on Facebook, so I think she might be having a hard time. My sweet golden retriever Sadie passed away. So did 3 of my turtles, so I'm down to 13 pets. Lonnie and I are going to get pigs though so that'll boost it up. Hamlet and Ophelia, the pot-bellied pigs. I'm very excited. Lonnie is the boyfriend, in case you were wondering. Also, if you recognize the name, you'll probably know why Mary and I are no longer friends. But all is fair in love and war. I'm in my new house. Be jealous, because it's awesome. | | Sunday, August 3rd, 2008 | | 12:26 am |
So August in South Carolina is full of thunderstorms. We're used to that. It's pretty typical, actually. Sometimes, even, the thunderstorms make the power flicker. Flicker. Not actually go out, but flicker. As I write this, the power has been out for, well, 27 minutes. It's getting hotter by the second - at least in my mind. I think I'm about to have a panic attack. So to keep myself occupied, I'm going around amazon.com and adding movies to my wishlist. This is a review I recently came across and I was AMAZED by the typos/grammatical errors. Some kid from Texas wrote this, and I hope to God he was from Sweden or something before he moved to Texas, because the English language is obviously lost on him. "This is is the only sequel to the original alligator. Another bady alligator has end up in the sewer. It is down there for years where it grows to be abnormal large and strong. Appears this greed person has been dumping radiactive chemicals in the swamp. Just like in the first one alligator goes on a kill spring. Once again it must be stop. Unlike with tremors 2 and 3 none of characters from the First alligator are in it. I have seen the made for television version of this a few times on scifi. A new sherrif and his with must stop the buffed up mutated Alligator before he kills ever body in the city. What they have to do kill this one makes taking down Romon from the first look easy. The alligator takes for ever to kill. The try hit it with two bombs one goes of but the damage is not enough to kill. Then they set off a second bomb which fails because the alligator crush the denotation device. Near the end the inject some short ot chemical in him that fails. They have to bring in guns I do not mean machine guns. They have to use explosive sells which are expensive probly cost the city a lot of meny to get because there so destuctive. Armed with bazkoos the go in and blast the Alligator 2 pieces. A good movie with a scare theme music lot of suspense. If you liked the first Alligator then you Will love the Second. If you like these I also recomend Crocodile, Crodile 2 Death Roll and Blood Surf." The teacher inside of me wants to give extra credit to whoever can count all the errors.... yikes. | | Tuesday, July 15th, 2008 | | 9:40 pm |

Living Lohan
So I'm watching "Living Lohan" and I am obsessed with "Gramma Lohan" who isn't actually a Lohan, she's Dina's mother. But she's the only one in the family who isn't worthless. She likes to point out when Dina is a bad parent. She's a badass grandmother. | | Sunday, March 23rd, 2008 | | 10:20 pm |
So McClellanville is officially the weirdest town ever. One year ago, my parents woke me up on Easter Sunday to tell me that Oriana had died in a four-wheeler accident. This morning, my parents showed up where I had camped the night before with my friends to tell me that Josh Thomas, one of my seniors and my favorite student, had died in a four-wheeler accident. It's just bizarre. | | Wednesday, February 27th, 2008 | | 12:43 pm |
Who wants an update?
Probably no one... But anyways: My life is still boring. I still feel lonely a lot. That guy to whom I was betrothed at birth? Engaged. One of my best friends is engaged too, and that's weird/hard. I love my job still. Kevin Costner is filming a movie here and it's super annoying. I saw the old bastard yesterday blocking traffic. What evs. I just mailed off the Yearbook, which is a big relief. The woman who has been doing it the last few years was always so slack that the book would end up coming out in June. I hope everything goes perfectly this go around, because I'm still trying to make a good impression, which isn't easy because of Ellis's mom. I love and miss you all! So does June Bug. | | Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008 | | 11:56 am |

The Secret of Christmas
So I was watching "How The Grinch Stole Christmas!" and I had a total epiphany. Even to someone who lives under the proverbial rock, who has never seen the film, the cartoon, or read the book, should know that in the end, the Grinch will be redeemed. He will become a good person. And you know how they should know that? Because the Grinch isn't a total misanthropic loner. The Grinch has a dog. And dog people simply can not be evil. Except for Hitler - but Hitler killed his own dog, which may make him a little less of a dog person. | | Thursday, November 15th, 2007 | | 2:40 pm |
So John Paul asked for an update...
My life is tediously boring. I work every day. Wake up early, do my hair, get dressed (the students did vote me "best dressed" for Faculty superlatives) and go to school. I teach six classes a day - 2 sections of keyboarding, four of English. I work late to prepare my lesson plans. I go home and eat dinner with my parents like I did when I was in high school. On Tuesdays, I go to Trivia at the Crab Pot. James and I are no longer rekindling our relationship. Rather, I find myself locked back into a "I love you, I love you not" relationship with Ellis. I am the advisor of the school's yearbook, which takes lots of time and energy. I am also codirecting the school's Christmas play - the first Christmas play the school has performed in, like, 4 years. I get my nails done a lot. I am sad and lonely a lot. I really miss all my St. Auggie friends. Peggy is going to be 40 this year, so I'm planning a Gone With The Wind party for her. After that, on Dec 30, I'm having a graduation oyster roast for myself. I'll be sending invites to all you Flagler-esque people, but I'll understand if you can't make it. Current Mood: tired | | Wednesday, September 19th, 2007 | | 3:34 pm |
Depressed again. Carl is dying. But my seniors are studying Othello, and they're liking it. Current Music: none | | Sunday, September 9th, 2007 | | 9:19 pm |

New e-mail address: blondezombie21@hotmail.com P.S. Currently I am watching "The US vs. John Lennon" and the commentators are talking about some letter Sen. Strom Thurmond sent to Mr. Yono-Lennon that pretty much said "Rock music is the devil." If anyone else doesn't understand my account, Strom Thurmond = South Carolina. Oh, yeah, that's how this state works. Current Music: Just VH1. Sorry. | | Wednesday, August 15th, 2007 | | 3:55 pm |
6 days until I start my first real job. | | Saturday, July 14th, 2007 | | 12:53 am |
My mom gives me a 12AM curfew (is that how you spell that?) when she knows I'm hanging out with James. I think it's supposed to suck, but I find it kind of humorous. Anyways, I've been home for almost an hour with no one to talk with or what evs. But tonight insomnia's not that bad because in exactly 6 minutes Shaun of the Dead is coming on Comedy Central. This is how my satelite describes the movie: Movie. Simon Pegg, Kate Ashfield, Lucy Davis. (2004) An aimless TV salesman and his best pal must save their friends and family from the zombies that have overrun London. Even that is funny. Pal? I miss my best pal (Niks, that's you.) Current Music: TV | | Wednesday, July 11th, 2007 | | 9:17 pm |
I had a bad day again. Current Mood: sadCurrent Music: Beethoven's 5th. Is that weird? | | Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007 | | 3:50 am |

School is out and I'm getting a bunny. Well, I'm going to West Palm, and then I'm getting a bunny. And then I'm redecorating my rooms at home and throwing away all of the books on that big book shelf in my office and organizing my DVDs which have been in boxes for, like, three weeks now. It's going to be amazazing! And then I'm going to pick a movie to watch with Archie, my bunny. |
